Meet Our Owner

Philip Deeck - President/Owner

Born in Baltimore, MD, but living mostly in Annapolis, Phil has roofed up and down the eastern seaboard from Maryland to Georgia, as well as installed the roof on the American Embassy in Uganda, Africa.

After running a thriving roofing company in Annapolis, Phil moved to Sussex County, DE, and created Shelter Construction in 2007.

In 2020, Phil changed from a Sole Proprietor to a Corporation, therefore creating Shelter Construction Roofing, Inc.

Phil spends his free time reading his Bible and working on and racing his vintage cars and trucks. He and his wife live in Millsboro and enjoy working around the house gardening and landscaping.

Phil is a thriving member of his church and has a history of being there when the community needs help.
